About Bruce Jones

Bruce is a Nashville-area native who grew up in Robertson County, with family roots in Middle Tennessee dating back to the 1700s. His family history includes a notable connection to President James K. Polk, who appointed a relative as Postmaster General in the mid-1800s—during which time the postage stamp was introduced. His great-grandmother was also a graduate of Peabody College (now part of Vanderbilt University) in the late 1800s. Locally, Bill Jones Industrial Boulevard in Springfield, Tennessee, was named after his grandfather. Bruce has spent his entire life in the Nashville area and now resides in Franklin.

Bruce began his real estate journey early, flipping his first home at just 19 years old. He later obtained his real estate license and built a highly successful 20-year career with RE/MAX, selling hundreds of homes. He went on to found the Exceptional Living Group, a team of seasoned agents that joined Compass in 2019 and has since been recognized as one of the top real estate teams in the country.

With over 30 years of experience, Bruce offers deep expertise in real estate combined with an intimate knowledge of Middle Tennessee’s markets and geography. Beyond residential sales, he has developed, designed, and financed the construction of dozens of homes. He has also led his own venture capital group, successfully developing a wide range of projects across the region.

Bruce brings additional value through his background in insurance and claims, along with years of corporate experience. Since obtaining his real estate license in 1996—and later his broker’s license in 2007—he has closed hundreds of millions of dollars in transactions.

Outside of real estate, Bruce is passionate about promoting a healthy lifestyle through fitness and personal responsibility. He enjoys helping others achieve their goals and has built a strong track record of creating wealth for his investors. He continues to lead and participate in several luxury real estate projects throughout the Nashville area.
